I walked on the beach today with my friend Marjan to honor Sally and pay homage to the summer sun. I collected several rocks that are vivid with color and texture. I couldn't wait to create an arrangement and photograph it!

Michael Jackson's Memorial Service at Staples Center
time: 10:09 AM, Los Angeles, CA. Asc: 8 Virgo. Time of 10:09 AM is when Smokey Robinson got on stage and read condolence notices from such luminaries as Diana Ross and Nelson Mandela. I was honored with a ticket by my neighbor Marjan. She and neighbors Paul and Tim and I all rode together to the Staples Center.
The memorial was absolutely awesome.

Good News, Eric is out of the hospital!
From AM member, Nancy: "Thanks so much, Claudia and everyone! Eric came home yesterday, still on antibiotics but now taking them orally. His leg is a little less red, and much less painful. The ultrasound and blood cultures ruled out endocarditis and/or blood clots (thank all the god/desses). He's going to have to stay off the leg as much as possible for a few more days, but appears to be on the mend. Thanks to all who sent him prayers and healing.
